Conditions for travel plan approval at Vitality Stadium

The club’s proposal to expand the stadium’s capacity from 11,300 to over 20,000 has raised transport and traffic concerns. The plan focuses on reducing car use and promoting alternative transport options, such as discounted rail and bus tickets integrated into matchday tickets. A shuttle bus will operate between Bournemouth station and the stadium. Additionally, improvements, including a cycle ‘super hub’ and expanded bus stops, are planned. The club will address parking restrictions and has committed funds for local infrastructure upgrades. A transport working group will oversee implementation, aiming for sustainable fan travel solutions.
