In 1976, Brotherhood of Man made history by winning the Eurovision Song Contest with “Save Your Kisses For Me,” the biggest-selling song in the competition’s history. They secured victory with a record-breaking margin of 80.39%, earning 164 points. Nicky Stevens, the group’s member and the only Welsh winner, reflected on the drastic changes in Eurovision over five decades, mentioning the 1976 format change that allowed songwriters to choose performers. Since retiring in 2020, Stevens now performs at a care home in Dorset, bringing joy to residents and reminiscing about her Eurovision days.
