Six beaches in Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole have retained their Blue Flag status, recognizing high standards in water quality, safety, and visitor facilities. The awarded beaches are Sandbanks, Shore Road, Canford Cliffs, Durley Chine, Fisherman’s Walk, and Highcliffe Beach, with Sandbanks achieving 39 consecutive awards. All six beaches also received Seaside Awards for cleanliness and management. An administrative error led to Avon Beach missing the Blue Flag designation, though its quality remains acknowledged. BCP Council praised local efforts and committed to maintaining clean, safe beaches throughout the summer, highlighting community collaboration in these achievements.
