Travellers Evicted from Muscliff Park by BCP Council

On the evening of May 12, a group of approximately seven caravans entered Muscliff Park in Bournemouth, allegedly breaking a gate lock before setting up an unauthorized camp near a children’s playground. Residents reported seeing the encampment, prompting Dorset Police and BCP Council to respond. A Section 61 notice was issued on Wednesday for the travellers to vacate the area. Police stated they were actively engaging with the individuals while council staff conducted assessments. Ultimately, the group was removed from the park following these interventions.
