The Coach House, opened by Bournemouth charity SAMEE, aims to support young people with complex needs and disabilities. CEO Samantha Everard MBE emphasized that the center provides hands-on learning experiences in real-world environments like a photographic studio and nail technician area. Interns with disabilities helped design the space to ensure accessibility. SAMEE’s Supported Self-Employment Internship program, spanning two years, offers opportunities for those with learning difficulties and neurodivergence. Additionally, the new Discovery Programme helps young people explore side-hustle opportunities, affirming that those facing challenges possess significant talent when given a chance.
