Comedian Jim Davidson, 72, claims he has been banned from performing in Bournemouth ahead of his adult pantomime, “Big Dick Whittington,” scheduled for June. Davidson alleges the council’s decision stems from his reputation as “rude” and being labeled as “racist, sexist, and homophobic.” However, both BCP Council and BH Live deny these allegations. Davidson asserts that his shows elsewhere are selling out and criticizes the council for limiting local entertainment options. He will perform the pantomime at the Tivoli Theatre in Wimborne from June 16 to 20.
