On May 17, Max Cooper’s innovative show merges music, theatre, and visual art to examine how structure influences human emotion. Originally commissioned for London’s Royal Albert Hall, it features ten spatial audio-visual pieces from his latest album, focusing on carefully crafted systems rather than improvisation. The immersive performance seeks to express human connections through form, highlighting Cooper’s unique artistic vision. Nick Reed from Music Beyond Mainstream noted Cooper’s distinctive role at the intersection of music, art, and science. The event will also include support from artist Rob Clouth at Lighthouse Poole.
