BCP Council is consulting on proposed parking fee changes in nine Poole roads, primarily in Sandbanks. A new winter tariff will charge £1.80 for up to an hour and £3.90 for longer stays until 10 pm from November 1 to March 14. From March 15 to October 31, a £19.10 fee for six hours and £25 for 14 hours is suggested, while existing prices for shorter stays remain. Overnight parking will incur a £3.50 fee. Councillor John Challinor criticized the changes, emphasizing potential negative impacts on local businesses. The consultation is open until May 29.
