The Revd Dr Gemma Foster has been appointed as the new Archdeacon of Bournemouth in the Diocese of Winchester, succeeding in her mission to support local parishes. Currently the rector of Cove Parish and Area Dean of Aldershot, she aims to build relationships within the archdeaconry, focusing on mission and discipleship. Dr Foster, who holds a PhD on supporting young adults, is welcomed by the Bishops of Winchester and Guildford as a gifted leader with valuable experience. She plans to move with her family over the summer, bringing her interests in creative hobbies and comedy to her new role.
