Wessex Water will conduct pipe surveying, cleaning, and relining along Poole’s Shore Road from June 1 to July 24 to address grit-related clogs, which pose a pollution risk. Parking bays on Shore Road will be periodically unavailable. From June 1 to July 3, work will occur from the Banks Road junction to near East Dorset Sailing Club, followed by work along the Promenade, which will be closed to pedestrians but will not impact Shore Road. Minor repairs will also take place on residential streets later this summer. Wessex Water aims to prevent sewer overflows during dry seasons.
