In October 2024, Mudeford Wood Community Trust announced that Mudeford Wood Pre-school would leave after 37 years due to term violations related to fire and health safety. The Trust plans to replace it with a full wrap-around service by September 2026, partnering with Pouncing Panthers, known for holiday clubs at the center. Both the Trust and Pouncing Panthers will invest £30,000 each for refurbishing the pre-school area, which will now include a new SEND and sensory facility. Additionally, the community center has undergone significant upgrades, including a £150,000 refurbishment of its All Weather Pitch.
