Dorset HealthCare has inaugurated Chaddesley House at St Ann’s Hospital, set to welcome patients by the end of May. This new facility features specialized adult wards for intensive mental health treatment and is part of a £70.6 million initiative funded by the Government’s New Hospital Programme. It enhances inpatient capacity and replaces older facilities, with additional refurbishments planned over two years. Matthew Bryant noted the importance of providing high-quality, accessible care tailored to service users. Additionally, an £17.9 million specialist unit for children and young people in Bournemouth is expected to open this summer.
