The Christchurch Central Women’s Institute meets monthly at Druitt Hall to provide social activities for local women. Their meetings include singing Jerusalem, celebrating birthdays, and hosting guest speakers. Upcoming events feature a coffee morning, a visit to Mudeford Lifeboat Station, and a charity walk in June. Member David Richmond-Coggan recently spoke about the RNLI, linking to the lifeboat visit. The group also plans a craft event in September and will celebrate its 40th anniversary later this year. Activities encourage community engagement through book clubs, craft sessions, and educational talks.
