Megan Wheeler-Osman, 23, lost her four-year-old son, Roman-AJ, to Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood (SUDC), a condition she was unaware of until it impacted her life. Roman, described as an affectionate and joyful boy, faced health challenges, including a cancer diagnosis after a mass was found in his abdomen. Despite surgery and chemotherapy, his health declined rapidly. On his fourth birthday, after a normal day filled with laughter and ice cream, he tragically passed away. Megan now strives to raise awareness about SUDC through the charity SUDC UK, emphasizing the importance of understanding this condition.
