On May 9, over 300 runners participated in the Seaside Scramble 5K fundraiser, featuring air ambulance-themed obstacles, to support the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance charity. Critical care practitioner Lauren Dyson emphasized the importance of such events for expanding services and enabling the air ambulance to someday operate 24/7. Events officer Alana Hardy highlighted the effort put into organizing this fun, family-oriented race in Poole, hoping it will become an annual tradition. Local residents Sue Marsh and Lynda Appleton joined to support the charity, recognizing its vital role in saving lives through quick medical care.
