Poole: Diverse Abilities to Host Adult Care Services Session

Dorset’s charity Diverse Abilities will hold its final advice session of the academic year on June 24, from 10:30 to 11:30 AM at Melton Court, Branksome, Poole. The session aims to support families transitioning from child to adult care services. Lynda Larke emphasized the importance of easing this challenging shift, particularly when children turn 18, as existing funding and healthcare provisions often end. Attendees can engage with professionals from various organizations, discuss concerns, and share experiences with others in similar situations. Families are encouraged to register in advance and submit questions on the Diverse Abilities website.
