Pokesdown Gallery, located at 841 Christchurch Road, is set to open on May 23 as part of the annual Dorset Art Weeks. This new addition complements the growing arts scene in Boscombe, including venues like BEAF and AUGER. The gallery will showcase works from two local artists: Sarah Humby, recognized for her community-focused printmaking, and Fabian Rose, a glass sculptor utilizing lost wax techniques from his Southbourne workshop. The gallery will host exhibitions on weekends, providing a creative space for the community. More details can be found on the Pokesdown Gallery website.
