Acosta Danza Yunior will perform “Next Generation” at Lighthouse Poole on June 9 and 10 at 7:30 PM. Comprising dancers aged 18-21 trained by ballet star Carlos Acosta, the show features four unique pieces showcasing Caribbean culture. “Fuga,” choreographed by Susana Pous, explores migration themes, while “Mundo Interpretado” by Juliano Nunes includes an installation of water lilies by Glenda León. “Capriccio,” inspired by René Magritte’s “The Lovers,” is created by Kit Holder, and an exclusive piece by Didy Veldman showcases the dancers’ physical prowess.
