On May 7, 136 polling stations in Bournemouth, Poole, and Broadstone will be open from 7 am to 10 pm for local elections. A total of 184 candidates are competing for 50 available seats across three councils. Bournemouth Town Council will elect 21 councillors across 10 wards, while Poole Town Council will also have 21 councillors selected from its 15 wards. Broadstone Town Council will elect 8 councillors from 2 wards. Voters must bring an acceptable form of photo ID. Results will be announced on May 8, emphasizing community representation in local governance.
