Brownsea Island announces family events for summer 2026

The National Trust has launched an inclusive program of events on Brownsea Island, catering to various interests and ages. Activities include group walks, birdwatching tours, bat safaris, live music, and outdoor theater performances. Dania Schmitz-Vaughan, the visitor operations manager, emphasized the goal of attracting diverse participants. New monthly supported walks are designed for those feeling isolated or bereaved, offered free with prior booking. Regular Wildlife Wetland Bird Walks and Bird and Bat Safaris will also take place. Visitors are encouraged to bring family and friends for a picnic at the evening theater events.
