BCP Council has approved the establishment of three new town councils set to take effect in October 2025, along with 27 new parish wards across Bournemouth and Poole. Each ward will host various candidates from multiple political parties, including Labour, Liberal Democrats, Green Party, Reform UK, and independents. Notable wards include Alderney and Wallisdown South, Bearwood, Boscombe and Pokesdown, and many others. Residents are encouraged to check their poll cards for details on which ward they belong to and their polling station. The upcoming elections will play a crucial role in shaping local governance.
