Poole cancer unit team walks across Dorset to raise funds

Dawn Kilshawe-Fall and Trudi Brackstone, with 31 years of combined experience at the Dorset Breast Screening Unit, are undertaking a 180-mile walking challenge from Poole to Christchurch. They aim to raise funds for improved patient care, having raised £1,700 so far. The scenic journey has included farmland and coastal paths, with support from colleagues and the public. Despite physical challenges, including sore feet, they remain motivated by their cause and the gratitude of those affected by breast cancer. The walk, which started on May 1, has enhanced their teamwork and community connection.
