The novel explores one family’s experience alongside the varied responses of 15 strangers involved in the crisis. Rachel emphasized supporting local authors, leading all club members to purchase signed copies. The group meets monthly at Coffee #1 in Ashley Cross, showcasing a shared love for diverse literature.
