On May 3, Dorset Police responded to an incident on Holdenhurst Road involving a man with a knife, leading to a fight. One individual sustained serious, but non-life-threatening, head injuries and was hospitalized. A 40-year-old man from Bournemouth was arrested for grievous bodily harm, while a 28-year-old man was taken into custody for attempted grievous bodily harm and violence for trying to enter a property. Police established a cordon and forensic teams investigated the scene. Authorities increased police presence in the area, encouraging witnesses or those with concerns to speak to officers.
