The blaze started around 5 PM in one yacht and spread to nearby vessels, causing extensive damage. Eyewitnesses observed substantial smoke drifting towards Chesil Beach, prompting firefighters to advise local residents to close windows and doors. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and all individuals were accounted for. At least three yachts were damaged, but the fire was ultimately extinguished, allowing the RNLI crew to return to the harbor by 7:15 PM.
