In Milton Abbas, the community is rallying after a traumatic incident involving two horses attacked by aggressive dogs. On April 27, around 8:30 PM, witnesses reported noise near grazing fields. One horse suffered bite injuries and another, named ‘Twig,’ had to be put down due to a broken leg. This incident follows another livestock-related case within the week, prompting police to remind pet owners to keep dogs under control. Dorset Police are investigating and have taken DNA samples from the injured horses. The RSPCA emphasizes the need for dogs to be leashed near livestock to prevent such tragedies.
