The Greener Wimborne, Better Planet learning series features two upcoming talks on waste reduction and wildlife conservation. The first, “Let’s Talk Rubbish,” presented by Linda Bunting and Sarah Wise on May 11, aims to educate participants about waste management and recycling through interactive games. The second session, “Wildlife-Friendly Gardening,” on May 18 by Wilding Wimborne, provides practical tips for fostering nature at home, potentially including a visit to Wimborne Community Garden. Both events are free for u3a members and £10 for non-members, held at The Reef in Colehill. Booking in advance is recommended.
