Dorset businessman loses inheritance case and faces £875k costs

Alastair Bowerman, 57, contested the division of his parents’ estate after only receiving a one-third share of £230,000, while his brother Ben, 60, inherited the family farm and a lucrative mineral water spring. Relations between the brothers deteriorated, culminating in Alastair’s criminal conviction related to Ben.
