Well Hot Limited applied to renew the Sexual Entertainment Venue (SEV) license for Wiggle in Bournemouth, prompting five complaints, mainly from one individual, regarding promotions, litter, and drug paraphernalia. During a licensing committee meeting on April 29, several residents objected to the renewal. Taran Ojla, the club’s general manager, defended their efforts to maintain cleanliness and emphasized inclusiveness, stating the club attracts a diverse clientele. Opponent Susan Stockwell urged the committee to consider alternatives for the local night-time economy. The body noted a lack of a Sexual Entertainment Venue Policy and will decide privately on the application.
