Jason Evans, 32, was presented in Poole Magistrates’ Court on April 7, facing multiple charges including assault and escape from lawful custody. After being remanded following an earlier hearing, Evans escaped while being transported by a private company on April 2. A four-day manhunt ensued, utilizing a police helicopter. He was found and arrested on April 6 in Bournemouth and charged with various offences, including causing actual bodily harm and assaulting emergency workers. Evans is scheduled to appear in Bournemouth Crown Court on May 21.
