Dorset Police responded to reports of a man in his 50s suffering suspected stab wounds on Dale Valley Road around 5:16 PM. The man was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. A 53-year-old woman from Poole was arrested on suspicion of attempting to cause grievous bodily harm and assaulting emergency workers; it was indicated that she knew the victim. A police cordon was established, and a continued police presence was noted the following day. Witness Martin Coales, who provided first aid, expressed gratitude for the quick response of paramedics and the support of bystanders. An ongoing investigation is in place.
