Fires Spread Across New Forest Farms Causing Significant Damage

On April 29, two significant fires occurred around 5 pm in Damerham and Ringwood. The fire in Damerham involved a large stack of straw bales, with fire crews utilizing machinery to create a fire break to prevent escalation. They worked overnight to contain the blaze using jets and hose reels, and remained on-site with a reduced crew. The second fire in Crow Lane affected an outbuilding and two shipping containers, likely ignited by a bonfire. Seven pumps and various vehicles addressed the situation, and after inspections, no injuries were reported. Crews returned to their stations by 11:15 pm.
