Election candidate’s mobility scooter stolen

Emily Woodward, a local Green Party candidate in Bournemouth, had her mobility scooter stolen and later found discarded by the roadside. The scooter, essential for her daily mobility due to a chronic illness, was taken between April 27 and 28, and returned in poor condition. The theft has hindered her campaigning efforts as polling day approaches. Dorset Police are investigating but have made no arrests yet. The local community is supporting her, and the scooter is currently being assessed for repairs.
