Bournemouth Airport recorded nearly 1.4 million passengers in the year ending March 31, 2026, a rise of over 289,000. This growth is largely attributed to the full year of operations by Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, which expanded its routes since February 2025. The airport, celebrating its 85th anniversary, has also seen a boost in its cargo division, handling 37,042 tonnes—an increase of 21%. Significant investments of £17 million improved facilities, including a new immigration hall and expanded car parking. Upcoming flights for summer 2026 include new routes from both Jet2.com and Ryanair.
