Rotarians and guests from as far as Dublin convened in Canford School’s Great Hall to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Ferndown and Parley Rotary Club. President Keith Adams emphasized the event as a tribute to its 32 founding members. Notable attendees included Heather Stuart from Rotary Great Britain and Ireland, Sheila Smith, widow of founding president John Smith, and Bill Field, a founding member who received a commemorative gift for his 50 years of service. The celebration showcased the club’s dedication to local community service and international disaster relief efforts.
