Pro-Palestinian election candidate faces antisemitism allegations

Feda Shahin, a Green Party candidate in Bournemouth, has come under fire for allegedly making antisemitic comments, claiming “Zionists killed 20 million Christians” and are trying to dominate the world. Her associations with the BCP’s Palestine Solidarity Movement included calls to dismantle Israel. Labour representatives condemned her remarks as baseless and dangerous, asserting they undermine community values of respect and inclusion. Jessica Toale, the Labour MP for Bournemouth West, emphasized the need for unity in Bournemouth’s diverse community and urged the Green Party to take action following these allegations ahead of the upcoming local elections.
