On May 7, residents of Bournemouth, Poole, and Broadstone will elect 50 councillors across 27 new parish wards. To vote, residents must register and present a valid photo ID, such as a passport or driving license. Expired IDs are accepted if the voter is recognizable. Those without ID can apply for a free Voter Authority Certificate (VAC) by April 28, providing their name, address, date of birth, and National Insurance number. Assistance can be obtained from BCP Council. Notably, residents of Christchurch will not participate in this election, with their elections scheduled for 2027.
