Corfe Castle will host a family-friendly May Day celebration from May 2 to May 4, featuring traditional blacksmithing, LEGO castle-building, live music, and a Disco Maypole. Visitors can experience medieval craftsmanship with activities like archery and costume displays. Danielle Wootton, Senior Visitor Experience Officer, noted that May Day has been celebrated for over 2,000 years, marking the arrival of summer. Highlights include the chance to try on period outfits and a flower selfie station featuring local wildflowers. Corfe Castle is open daily from 10 am to 4:30 pm for those wishing to join the festivities.
