The Parks Foundation aims to raise £8,000 through the Big Give Earth Raise campaign, running from April 22 to April 29, with donations doubled. This funding will support tree and flower planting, pollinator habitat creation, and free community events in public parks across Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole. CEO John Hanson emphasized the impact of donations, stating that every pound raised will enhance local parks for both people and wildlife. A “Pollinator Play Day” will also be held on April 25 at Redhill Park for families to enjoy, while promoting biodiversity and supporting declining insect populations.
