The Phoenix Widowers Group in Christchurch provides a supportive space for men to connect over coffee and cake. Founded by Trevor Baldock, it meets weekly on Mondays from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm at the Church Hall on Beaconsfield Road, behind the Baptist Hall. Established 15 years ago, the group charges £3 for refreshments and hall rental. They are currently encouraging more men aged 60 and over to join, as new members are always welcome without the need for prior booking. The group fosters community and conversation among those experiencing widowhood.
