Bournemouth and Poole College has been recognized for “exceptional practice” in adult learning after a quality review by NCFE. Inspectors noted strong outcomes for around 2,000 learners enrolled in fully funded online courses, including mental health and business qualifications, with a 98% satisfaction rate reported. Course leader James Sewell emphasized the courses’ role in removing educational barriers and fostering personal and professional growth. The college’s leadership and learner-focused approach received praise, and plans to expand adult education offerings to support lifelong learning were announced.
