Dorset Camera Club member Scott Usher captured a unique moment of a gull attempting to catch a large orange crab from the English Channel at Hengistbury Head. Despite the bird’s effort, the crab fought back fiercely and ultimately escaped, leaving the gull empty-beaked. Usher remarked on Facebook that such encounters are rare, noting that the Spider Crab had other plans despite what should have been an easy meal.
