On April 20, 2026, at 7:55 PM, a man in his 20s reported that a stone struck his car’s windscreen while driving on the Upton bypass, causing damage but no injuries. Two young people were seen on a bridge above the road at the time of the incident. Police have searched the area unsuccessfully for suspects and are urging witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage to come forward.
