Amanda Jones, 55, from Wimborne, was diagnosed with incurable secondary breast cancer in 2013. To raise £4,000 for CoppaFeel!, she will trek 40km along the UNESCO World Heritage site in September, facing challenging climbs. Amanda first noticed a healing issue on her nipple and underwent treatment, but later experienced misdiagnosed chronic back pain, revealing spinal cord compression caused by cancer’s spread. Despite daily pain and medication side effects, she is dedicated to educating young people about breast cancer awareness through CoppaFeel! and organizing fundraising events, emphasizing the importance of early diagnosis in saving lives.
