Brittany Ferries assures no price increase or disruption

Brittany Ferries Chief Christophe Mathieu criticized competitors for “profiteering” in response to rising fuel costs, stating that his company has mostly secured fuel at fixed prices through hedging. He emphasized that Brittany Ferries will not raise holiday prices further, attributing earlier increases solely to inflation. Mathieu encouraged customers to book with confidence, highlighting a recent 37% rise in July and August reservations as families shift from air travel. He condemned price hikes during global crises as an unacceptable capitalist practice.
