Poole People Group’s Manifesto for Town Council Elections

Last year, BCP Council created three new town councils in Bournemouth, Broadstone, and Poole, forming a lower tier of local government with 27 new parish wards. Poole People is contesting six of the 15 wards and has outlined nine election priorities. These include protecting Poole’s identity and heritage, supporting local events, backing community initiatives, improving local amenities, investing in public spaces, strengthening the local economy, and preserving at-risk heritage buildings. They emphasize collaboration with residents and enhancing local services to foster community pride and ensure Poole’s development aligns with residents’ needs and values.
