Bournemouth Pavilion has received a significant donation of autograph books from the 1930s, donated by the son of former employee Lorna Hussey. These books offer insights into the venue’s golden age, featuring handwritten messages and memorabilia from famous performers like Gracie Fields. The collection will be preserved in the Pavilion archive as it approaches its centenary in 2029. BCP Council owns the Pavilion, operated by BH Live, and organizers encourage others to contribute memories or artifacts related to its history. The donation is intended to enrich the venue’s legacy and engage the community.
