Dorset Police’s East Dorset neighbourhood team conducted reassurance visits to telephone fraud victims, where scammers impersonate bank staff to steal money. They advised individuals to hang up if in doubt and to inform vulnerable friends and family. The team continues foot patrols in Wimborne and Corfe Mullen to address anti-social behavior and engaged with residents via a mobile police station. Officers expressed gratitude to community members for their interactions and emphasized the continuation of neighbourhood patrols and community engagement efforts.
