Andrew Braund discovered three rare Charizard Pokémon cards while cleaning his childhood home, unexpectedly valued at tens of thousands of pounds. Initially expecting his entire card collection to be worth around £500, he was stunned when a friend at a trading card shop revealed their worth. The cards sold for a combined total of £32,800 at auction, with one mint condition card fetching £17,000, a record at Ewbank’s Auctions. Elated, Braund plans to use the proceeds to fund his upcoming wedding. He expressed disbelief at his luck, reminiscing about his childhood Pokémon card collecting days.
