Woodlands School is under construction in Colehill by Dorset Council, transforming the site of the former St Catherine’s RC Primary School. It aims to support around 56 pupils aged five to 14, who typically attend The Forum Centre for those facing challenges in mainstream education. A groundbreaking ceremony recently celebrated the start of the project, set to be completed by autumn 2026, with Amiri Construction as the contractor. This initiative forms part of the SEND Capital Strategy to enhance specialized educational provision, and local collaboration will ensure a supportive environment for children with additional needs.
